Check out my NFL Week 11 DraftKings DFS Pick'em Team. The squad I put together is only for the early games. The early games are: Detroit at Chicago, Jacksonville at Cleveland, Baltimore at Green Bay, Arizona at Houston, L.A. Rams at Minnesota, Washington at New Orleans, Kansas City at New York Giants, and Tampa Bay at Miami. Check it out!
T1 – Kareem Hunt, RB, Kansas City at New York Giants
Todd Gurley II, Leonard Fournette, and Mark Ingram are all in Tier 1. I decided to go with Hunt because I believe Kansas City must get Kareem back on track. He definitely got tired the two weeks before KC's bye. If Hunt gets back on track, Kansas City should start winning football games again.
T2 – Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans vs Washington
Alvin Kamara scored close to 28 fantasy points in Week 10. He's averaging 17.8 points per. I believe he's close to a no-brainer pick although Kansas City TE Travis Kelce does face the 32nd ranked defense in the NFL versus opposing tight-ends.
I also took a long look at Tampa WR Mike Evans. At the end, I decided to go with Kamara. Why? I know that Saints coach Sean Payton will involve Kamara. He has in every game since New Orleans traded Adrian Peterson.
T3 – Sterling Shepard, WR, New York Giants vs Kansas City
If Kansas City scores points, and the Chiefs should versus one of the worst defenses in the NFL, the New York Giants must throw the football. Sterling Shepard is the Giants' best wide receiver because Odell Beckham Jr. is out for the season. QB Eli Manning targeted Shepard 13 times in Week 10. Shepard caught 11 of the 13 targets for 142 receiving yards.
T4 – Alex Smith, QB, Kansas City at New York Giants
I had to go with Alex Smith at Tier 4. Smith has a great shot of throwing 2 to 3 TDs versus the Giants horrible defense. All other quarterbacks at Tier 4 play against decent pass defenses save for Saints' QB Drew Brees. The problem with adding Brees is that unless the Saints fall behind early, New Orleans is going to rush the football, or at least take their time on offense. Smith almost assuredly must throw the football at some point during KC's battle against the Giants.
T5 – Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants vs Kansas City
The only hope the Giants have of keeping it close versus Kansas City is for Eli to air it out. He should throw the football with abandon on Sunday. Sure, Giants' RB Orleans Darkwa will get some yards. However, it won't be enough because by halftime, the G-Men are likely to be behind by 17 to 24 points. That's how bad things have gone for the New York Giants this season.
Eli always tries hard. He could have a decent game versus KC's terrible pass defense.
T6 – Jarvis Landry, WR, Miami vs Tampa Bay
Landry is easily QB Jay Cutler's favorite target. Cutler has a bad rep. I get it. Sometimes, it doesn't even look like he's trying. However, Cutler does have the ability to put a beating onto Tampa Bay's defense. Tampa's D is one of the worst in the NFL. If Cutler has any success at all, it will be because he keeps throwing the football to Jarvis Landry.
T7 – Evan Engram, TE, New York Giants
I'm taking a big chance by putting Evan Engram, Eli Manning, and Sterling Shepard onto my pick'em team. If the Giants keep it close, I might be golden. If Kansas City's defense comes out and dominates, which could happen, I'm toast. Those are the chances you take with DFS Contests, right?
T8 – Kenyan Drake, RB, Miami vs Tampa Bay
Drake provides the most upside of any of the other players available at Tier 8. Drake ran well versus Carolina's defense in Week 10. He should have a much better game in Week 11. If he has a great game, who knows? Drake's performance might be the one that allows me to cash on Sunday.
