NBA Wednesday, Nov. 15, DraftKings Team

November 15, 2017 By D.S. Williamson Leave a Comment

I put together an NBA DraftKings Classic Team for Wednesday, Nov. 15. Check it out!

PG – Dennis Schroder, $6,800, Sacramento at Atlanta – Schroder averages close to 36 fantasy points per game. He wasn't great in his last, only going for 23. I think he bounces back with a huge effort tonight. Why? He faces a defense with a rookie PG. Not only that, Sacramento hasn't exactly been one of the better teams in the NBA. Plus, Schroder usually steps it up at home.

SG – Eric Bledsoe, $6,300, Milwaukee vs Detroit – Bledsoe's averaging over 26 fantasy points per. Like Schroder, I like the fact he plays at home. I love the fact he doubles as a point-guard. There's also the added benefit that he faces the 24th ranked team versus the PG position. Hopefully, Jason Kidd will give Bledsoe more than 26 minutes in tonight's game.

SF – Jeremy Lamb, $5,700, Charlotte vs Cleveland – Lamb offers value. He's averaging a decent 29 fantasy basketball points per game. Lamb should have a much better game on Wednesday night versus the Cleveland Cavaliers than he often does. Cleveland ranks 27th versus opposing small forwards.

Nicholas Batum, whom Lamb has been starting in front of, is back for tonight's game. It's likely Batum eases back into his starting role. This could be one of the few last times we can add Lamb where he's got a shot to score over 30 fantasy points.

PF – DeMarcus Cousins, $11,100, New Orleans vs Toronto – Cousins has played at an MVP level so far this season. He's averaging 28.2 points, 14 boards, and close to 6 assists per game. He's also averaging 1.6 blocks per game. Toronto ranks 21st versus Cousins' position. I think he should dominate, like he always does.

C – Brook Lopez, $5,300, L.A. Lakers vs Philadelphia  – For only a $5,300 salary, Brook Lopez could have a sneaky great game versus the Philadelphia 76'ers on Wednesday night. Lopez faces the 25th ranked defense versus his position. He averages over 28 fantasy points per game. The best part is that he played 28 minutes in the Lakers' last matchup. Who knows? If he breaks the 30 minute barrier tonight, he could score over 30 fantasy points.

G – Kemba Walker, $7,400, Charlotte vs Cleveland  – Kemba Walker could have a huge game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. Cleveland allows 112.5 points per game. It's hard to see any player on the Cavs stopping Walker. Kemba averages over 6 assists per game. He also averages over 21 points per.

F – Kyle Korver, $3,700, Cleveland at Charlotte – Korver could get it going versus a Charlotte Hornets defense that yields 34.9% success from behind the three-point line. Korver played 28 minutes in the Cavaliers last game, a win over the New York Knicks. He remains one of the few truly talented three-point shooters on Cleveland's squad.

UTIL – Garrett Temple, $3,600, Sacramento at Atlanta – For a $3,600 salary, Garrett Temple offers some value in tonight's battle against the Hawks. Temple usually starts over Buddy Hield even though Hield often gets more playing time than Temple does. Tonight, Temple faces the 30th ranked defense in the NBA versus his position. I think he can play above his salary in tonight's matchup.
