NBA Wednesday, Nov. 29, DraftKings Classic Team

November 29, 2017 By D.S. Williamson Leave a Comment

I put together an NBA DraftKings Classic Team for Wednesday, Nov. 29. Check it out!

PG – T.J. McConnell, $4,600, Philadelphia vs Washington – McConnell only averages 22.3 fantasy basketball points per game. That's not a heck of a lot. He could have a much bigger presence this Wednesday night versus the Washington Wizards.

There's a good chance the 76'ers keep Ben Simmons on the bench. If they do that, McConnell will run the show. McConnell faces the 12th ranked defense versus his position. Anything over 30 fantasy points is a gift at his low salary.

SG – James Harden, $11,600, Houston vs Indiana – The Beard faces the 17th ranked team versus his position. Not that it matters. James Harden averages over 57 fantasy points per game. With Chris Paul back in the line-up Harden is averaging more fantasy points. It makes sense. Paul is a pure point-guard. He's going to look to dish to The Beard if he can. The Beard has excellent passing skills. So, Harden is going to look to dish the ball if he's double-teamed, or if he sees a teammate with a better shot at scoring.

SF – Kyle Anderson, $5,300, San Antonio vs Memphis – For a $5,300 salary, I'm adding a hot PG/SF that's averaging 34 fantasy points in the past 10 days. Anderson scored 36 fantasy points in San Antonio's last game. He faces the 24th ranked defense at his position.

PF – LaMarcus Aldridge, $8,100, San Antonio vs Memphis – Aldridge continues to post huge fantasy basketball numbers. He's averaging 40.1 fantasy points per. He scored more than 60 fantasy points in San Antonio's last. Memphis ranks 29th versus LaMarcus' position. In tonight's matchup, 60 fantasy points again should be within his reach.

C – Steve Adams, $5,500, Oklahoma City at Orlando  – Adams only scored 10.3 fantasy basketball points in Oklahoma City's last game. I'm expecting a huge bounce back performance on Nov. 29. Orlando's defense ranks 26th versus Adams' position. He should score a double-double against the Magic. Fingers crossed!

G – Tyus Jones, $4,500, Minnesota at New Orleans – It's likely that starting point-guard Jeff Teague takes the night off. Officially, Teague is listed as questionable with an Achilles issue. Jones performed well in Minnesota's last game:  12 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 0 turnovers. Jones also played 39 minutes and 49 seconds. If Teague doesn't hit the court again due to the Achilles issue, Jones could play over 39 minutes again.

F – Larry Nance Jr., $5,400, L.A. Lakers vs Golden State – Nance Jr. has averaged 29 fantasy points in the past 10 days. That's because he's only played a single game in the past 10 days. The reason to like Nance Jr. moving forward is because Lakers' head coach Luke Walton said that Nance Jr. is “probably our best player”. Also, both Steph Curry and Kevin Durant might be out for the Warriors in tonight's game.

UTIL – Eric Gordon, $5,000, Houston vs Orlando – Gordon only scored 18.5 fantasy points in the Rockets last game. He's averaging around 29 fantasy points per. I'm hoping he gets a bit more run spelling Chris Paul instead of spelling James Harden in tonight's matchup versus Orlando.
