Todd Gurley II leads the highest-cost salaried running back on DraftKings for Week 11. Leonard Fournette is in second place at $8,200. Mark Ingram is at $8,100. Ingram's followed by Kansas City's Kareem Hunt and Buffalo's LeSean McCoy. Who offers the most value of the Top 5? Keep reading to find out!
NFL Week 11 Top Fantasy WRs
1. Todd Gurley II, $8,400, L.A. Rams at Minnesota
2. Leonard Fournette, $8,200, Jacksonville at Cleveland
3. Mark Ingram, $8,100, New Orleans vs Washington
4. Kareem Hunt, $8,000, Kansas City at New York Giants
5. LeSean McCoy, $7,800, Buffalo at L.A. Chargers
Most Overpriced Salary
Todd Gurley II, $8,400, L.A. Rams at Minnesota
Minnesota's defense is all about stopping the rush. The Vikings only allow 81.3 rushing yards per game. Todd Gurley II definitely offers some value in the passing attack. He's one of the top pass-catching running backs in the NFL.
However, that value is tempered by the fact that Minnesota allows less than 295 total yards per matchup. Gurley II could serve as a decoy all day while QB Jared Goff tries to find Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods.
Best Choice Based on Salary
Kareem Hunt, $8,000, Kansas City at New York Giants
Hunt got a chance to rest because the Giants had their bye in Week 10. That's the good news. Every player on KC's squad seemed tired in NFL Week 9. Hunt should have no trouble blasting a Giants' defense that yielded 186 rushing yards to the San Francisco 49'ers in Week 10.
NFL Week 11 WR Options
Melvin Gordon, $7,600, L.A. Chargers vs Buffalo
Gordon doesn't exactly offer value. But, he does face a Buffalo team that ranks 31st on DraftKings versus opposing running backs. There's a chance that Austin Ekeler steals touches away from Gordon. Then again, Ekeler fumbled the football late in last week's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Bolts could decide to just go with Gordon versus the Bills. The Saints racked up 298 rushing yards against the Bills in Week 10. I don't believe the Chargers do that. They should still garner at least 120 yards rushing, though.
Alvin Kamara, $7,500, New Orleans vs Washington
Fellow Saints' RB Mark Ingram rushed for 3 TDs versus the Bills in Week 10. Ingram won't rush for 3 TDs every week. Kamara will be involved every week. Kamara averages 17.8 fantasy football points per game. He scored 27.8 points in Week 10. He was the Saints' top pass catcher versus Buffalo.
Jamal Williams, $4,900, Green Bay vs Baltimore
Williams rushed for 67 yards on 20 carries versus the Chicago Bears in Week 10. Although that's only a 3.4 per rush average, we mustn't forget that Chicago has a very good rush defense. Not only that, but by leaning on Williams, the Packers managed to upset the Bears on the moneyline.
Baltimore yields 125.9 rushing yards per game. I like Green Bay to go with Williams versus the Ravens on Sunday.
Kenyan Drake, $4,800, Miami vs Tampa Bay
Drake is more effective than fellow RB Damien Williams. Tampa Bay allows 109.9 rushing yards per game. Even if Miami just wants Drake to stay off Jay Cutler, he could bust one for a long TD. That's how fast Kenyan Drake is.
