Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evans is back. He sports the highest-cost salary for wide receivers on NFL Week 11 DraftKings contests. Just to be clear, Monday night's game and Sunday night's game aren't a part of the contest that I'm looking to enter. No Dallas or Philadelphia players. Also, no Dallas or Atlanta players.
NFL Week 11 Top Fantasy WRs
1. Mike Evans, $7,900, Tampa Bay at Miami
2. Michael Thomas, $7,400, New Orleans vs Washington
3. Adam Thielen, $7,200, Minnesota vs L.A. Rams
4. Tyreek Hill, $7,100, Kansas City at New York Giants
5. A.J. Green, $7,000, Cincinnati at Denver
Most Overpriced Salary
Michael Thomas, $7,400, New Orleans vs Washington
Thomas is Saints' QB Drew Brees' top target. The issue with adding Thomas is that the Saints' offense is predicated around their rushing attack. Washington could send resources into the box to stop Saints' rushers. In that case, Thomas might have a great game. Then again, even if Washington commits players to stopping New Orleans' rush, they might not be able to do it.
In that case, the most to expect out of Michael Thomas is a TD catch and maybe 6 catches. I'm not sure the $7,400 salary is worth the production.
Best Choice Based on Salary
Tyreek Hill, $7,100, Kansas City at New York Giants
The New York Giants are a mess of a football team. The Giants' defense gave up 288 passing yards to San Francisco QB C.J. Beathard in Week 10. Hill could have a huge day if the Giants commit to stopping KC's rush. I don't see how the Giants can't do that.
NFL Week 11 WR Options
Larry Fitzgerald, $6,900, Arizona at Houston
Houston's defense gave up a ridiculous 8 catches from 10 targets to Rams' WR Robert Woods in Week 10. Woods also caught 2 TDs. He racked up 171 receiving yards.
I know that Arizona QB Drew Stanton isn't Jared Goff. He's not going to throw for 355 yards. He could end up throwing for only 200 yards and 2 TDs. If Stanton does, there's a good chance Larry Fitzgerald catches both TD passes and around 150 of the 200 yards.
Stefon Diggs, $6,700, Minnesota vs L.A. Rams
Diggs offers much better value than Adam Thielen in the Vikings game versus the Rams on Sunday. Stefon caught 4 passes for 78 yards and a TD in Week 10. That was just his second game played since Week 4. I expect Diggs to become more involved week to week. He could have a breakout game in NFL Week 11.
Jarvis Landry, $6,400, Miami vs Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay's pass defense is terrible. Yes, Landry's been hampered by a slight injury this week. Still, he should be able to go. If he does go, he's the much better option than Devante Parker. Landry is QB Jay Cutler's favorite target.
Sterling Shepard, $6,300, New York Giants vs Kansas City
The Chiefs rank 32nd versus opposing wide receivers. Sterling Shepard could get loose because KC must pay attention to other wide receivers on the Giants' offense. TE Evan Engram could also take some attention away from Sterling.
