We're only a couple of days from NFL Week 2 Sunday. This season, I'm playing both an NFL DraftKings Pick'em Team and an NFL DraftKings Classic Team. Below is my NFL Week 2 Pick'em Team. Check it out!
T1 Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers at Atlanta – Rodgers should have a monster day. He's dead set on beating Atlanta this season after the Packers lost 21 to 44 to the Falcons in last season's NFC Championship. I don't see Aaron throwing less than 350 yards. I also don't see anything less than 3 TD passes. Rodgers is going to jump on the suspect Falcons' defense from the Packers' first drive.
T2 Alex Smith, QB, Kansas City vs Philadelphia – Many NFL Fantasy Football fans believe that Smith's incredible performance against the New England Patriots was a fluke. I don't think so. I believe that Smith is surrounded by so many talented skill players that he should have great performances every week. Think about it. Smith's Top 3 skill players are TE Travis Kelce, RB Kareem Hunt, and WR Tyreek Hill. I can't think of another Top TE, RB, and WR threesome in the NFL.
T3 Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh vs Minnesota – Brown's as consistent as they get. Because I can add him at T3, I'm sort of giddy about it. Brown should have another big day. He caught 11 passes in Week 1. He might catch 12. Even if he only catches 8 with 2 of the passes being TDs, I'll be happy. The man's uncoverable. It doesn't matter what Minnesota does.
T4 Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas at Denver – Denver's defense was decent stopping the L.A. Chargers rush in Week 1. Bolts' RB Melvin Gordon only garnered 54 yards on 18 carries. Let's not kid ourselves. Dallas' offensive line is much better than the Chargers'.
Ezekiel should have a great game versus Denver's defense. The Broncos allowed an average of 130.3 rushing yards per game last season. Elliott could easily eclipse that against Denver on Sunday.
T5 Tyreek Hill, WR, Kansas City vs Philadelphia – Philly cornerback Ronald Darby is out. Without Darby, it might be difficult for the Eagles to cover Tyreek Hill. Hill punished the Patriots' secondary when catching 7 of 8 targets for 133 yards and a TD.
T6 Randall Cobb, WR Green Bay at Atlanta – Cobb didn't score a TD in Week 1. He did catch 9 of 13 targets for 85 yards. Rodgers spreads the ball around. Even though Jordy Nelson figures to be the big play WR in Week 2, Cobb could add a TD to around 75 yards off 7 catches.
T7 Christian McCaffrey, RB, Carolina vs Buffalo – McCaffrey only recorded 12.5 fantasy points in Week 1. He rushed for 47 yards on 13 carries. He caught 5 of 7 targets for 38 yards. If he adds a TD to those Week 1 totals in Week 2, we're talking 18 points. McCaffrey could get even more.
T8 Isaiah Crowell, RB, Cleveland at Baltimore – I believe Baltimore's defense is a paper tiger. The Cincinnati Bengals were horrible in Week 2 against Houston's defense. Houston gave up 100 rushing yards to rookie Leonard Fournette in Week 1.
Cleveland QB DeShone Kizer is no joke. He should get better week to week. Corey Coleman is a very good wide receiver. Crowell could have a big game if the Ravens' overrated defense must pay attention to Cleveland's passing attack.
Good luck with your DraftKings DFS Fantasy Teams in NFL Week 2!
