As to be expected, Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiver Antonio Brown is the highest-salary cost WR for all NFL Week 7 DraftKings DFS Classic contests. After Brown is Cincinnati's A.J. Green. After Green are Dallas' WR Dez Bryant, Tampa's Mike Evans, and New Orleans Michael Thomas.
NFL Week 7 Top Fantasy WRs
1. Antonio Brown, $8,900, Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati
2. A.J. Green, $8,300, Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
3. Dez Bryant, $7,800, Dallas at San Francisco
4. Mike Evans, $7,600, Tampa Bay at Buffalo
5. Michael Thomas, $7,500, New Orleans at Green Bay
Dez Bryant, $7,800, Dallas at San Francisco
Dez costs an awful lot in salary to put a beating on San Francisco. The problem with paying so much for Dez is that Dallas' RB Ezekiel Elliott plays this Sunday. Dez should have a decent game versus SF, no doubt. But, there's no way he catches 10 passes for 150 yards with 2 TDs. Those are the numbers his salary implies.
Best Choice Based on Salary
Antonio Brown, $8.900, Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati
The Bengals' defense always concerns itself with the rush first. Pittsburgh's offense got back on track last week with Brown and RB Le'Veon Bell posting big numbers. Since the Bengals must stop Bell before stopping Brown, Big Ben no doubt will throw the football to AB. Brown routinely sees 15 targets a week. It doesn't matter who Pittsburgh plays.
NFL Week 7 WR Options
Jarvis Landry, $6,800, Miami vs New York Jets
Landry saw 14 targets in Miami's 20 to 17 shocker of a win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6. Landry has become QB Jay Cutler's favorite target. Nothing should change in Week 7 when the Dolphins face the New York Jets. I expect Cutler to throw to Landry all day. The Jets are great at stopping the rush. To move the ball, Miami has no choice but to throw it.
Keenan Allen, $6,300, L.A. Chargers vs Denver
Denver didn't concentrate on stopping the rush in NFL Week 6. The Giants pounded the Broncos for 148 rushing yards. The Broncos should go back to stopping the rush in Week 7. What it means is that Allen could have another decent outing versus Denver just like he did in Week 1. He caught 5 of 10 targets for 35 yards and a TD in Week 1. If Denver pays even more attention to Melvin Gordon in Week 7 than they did in Week 1, Allen could post even better stats.
Pierre Garcon, $5,800, San Francisco vs Dallas
Garcon saw 12 targets in Week 6. He's likely to see way more than that in Week 7. San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan has already said that rookie QB C.J. Beathard is starting against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. To keep pace with the Cowboys' offense, Beathard's going to lean on his best wide receiver. That's Garcon.
Robert Woods, $4,000, L.A. Rams vs Arizona
I can't believe we can add Woods on DraftKings DFS Classic Teams for only $4,000. Woods should see plenty of targets in a game where the Cardinals will insist on shutting down WR Sammy Watkins. Rams' QB Jared Goff also appears to have a better rapport with Woods than he does with Watkins. At $4,000, Woods is definitely worth considering for all classic contests.
